Botox® (onabotulinumtoxinA) is an FDA-approved cosmetic injectable for frown lines, forehead lines, and crow’s feet. Botox® offers both women and men a straight forward, non-surgical treatment administered by a physician to temporarily smooth moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows, forehead wrinkles and lateral eye areas (crow’s feet). Dermal fillers such as Restylane® and Juvéderm® are FDA-approved hyaluronic-acid fillers. Latisse Solution

Latisse® is an FDA-approved prescription treatment designed to promote the growth of longer, thicker, and darker eyelashes. The treatment is applied topically to the base of the upper eyelashes daily, usually at bedtime, using a sterile applicator. Noticeable results typically begin to appear within 4 weeks, with full results visible around 16 weeks. Consistent use is necessary to maintain the results, as lashes gradually return to their original state if treatment is discontinued.

Q) Do I need Botox or a filler?

Watch the line: a crease that appears when you frown, squint, or raise your brows is an expression line, treated with Botox; a fold or hollow visible with your face fully relaxed is volume loss, treated with a filler. Some faces benefit from both, which the consultation sorts out.

Q) Should I get Botox at a medspa or a dermatologist’s office?

The doctor’s license matters more than the sign on the door. A physician-run medspa like Rapid Weight Loss & Esthetics Centers and dermatologist’s office both put a medical clinician behind the needle; many retail medspas do not.

Q) Can I get medspa treatments at the same practice as my weight-loss program?

Yes. The medspa and the weight-loss program share offices so Dr. Sattele already has your record on hand. You can even have a MedSpa treatment on the on the same day as your weight-loss visit

Q) Who performs your injections?

Dr. Kevin M. Sattele, MD, perfoms the injections. He is a board-certified internal medicine physician (American Board of Internal Medicine) with more than 20 years of clinical bariatric experience and an active South Carolina medical license (#18841, valid through 2027). Q) What does the free consultation cover?

A clinician reviews your medications, examines the areas that bother you, and names the treatment that fits, or says plainly if none does. Candidacy, common side effects, and the cost of your specific plan are covered before anything is booked. Doses are planned conservatively, so you still look like yourself; you can start small and add later; and most people are back to their day the same afternoon. Many injectable patients are first-timers, men included, and a visit here is a routine medical appointment, not a spa production.

Q) If your face has changed with weight loss, can dermal fillers help?

Yes. Fast weight loss, on a GLP-1 medication or otherwise, can deflate the facial fat pads that support the cheeks, temples, midface, and jawline, leaving a hollowed looking face on a newly healthier body. Q) How do I use Latisse?

Apply Latisse to the base of your upper lashes once a day, usually at night, using a sterile applicator.

Q)When will I see results with Latisse?

Initial results can appear within 4 weeks, with full results visible at 12 to 16 weeks..

Q) Are there side effects to Latisse?

Side effects can include itching, redness, or darkening of the eyelid skin. Rarely, it may cause darkening of the iris.

Q) What happens if I stop using Latisse?

Your eyelashes will gradually return to their original length and thickness.
