– 4 slices turkey bacon
– 1 pound ground turkey
– 1 pound bulk pork sausage
– 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
– 1/2 teaspoon pepper
– 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
– 2 tablespoon steak sauce

- 1) Cook bacon until crisp. Remove bacon and discard all but 2 tablespoons of drippings.
2) Crumble bacon and set aside.
3) Meanwhile, combine ground turkey, pork, cheese, pepper, garlic powder and steak sauce in a large bowl.
4) Shape into 16 patties.
5) Divide bacon mixture and place over eight of the patties.
6) Place remaining patties on top and press edges tightly to seal.
7) Grill over medium coals until well-done 160 F (pork sausage in burgers requires thorough cooking).
